Opening a second zip grants 6 to 8 litres of additional storage space.

The Base Boost Spinner is a kind of “beginner model” for the Samsonite brand. The suitcase is significantly more affordable than the top models. You will nevertheless receive a practical, high-quality suitcase with good equipment. In addition to the low weight and large storage capacity, I am particularly fond of the front pocket. There are also additional pockets inside, which makes organising your luggage a very comfortable experience.

While it moves very smoothly on flat terrain, you will find the Base Boost Spinner to be a bit wobbly on bumpy passages.

The Samsonite Base Boost is a classic soft protective suitcase in a good quality and with impressive value for money. The model performs excellently when it comes to the most important features of a suitcase: it offers plenty of storage space and is very light. The biggest disadvantage is the relatively small single-wheel rollers.
The hand luggage version (size S) is particularly worth recommending. When it comes to hand luggage, having plenty of storage space and low weight is very important so you have plenty of space for luggage and don’t reach the specified weight limit for hand luggage so quickly. It is here that the Base Boost achieves the best values of them all.
With sizes M and L, the small rollers would bother me a little personally. A suitcase that rolls well is very important for me. That’s why I recommend taking a look at the Samsonite Spark SNG. This has large double rollers and even takes first place in the suitcase test for storage capacity.
